A life with God is possible, and it’s the most breathtaking adventure you’ll ever go on. However, nobody goes on an adventure like this without first preparing in a Base Camp. That’s where you’re going to get equipped, learn about the terrain, and where you’ll assemble your team. K2’s Base Camp is more than just another bible study. It is an essential tool for this adventure of following God. If you are wandering about God’s country, this will help you find your bearings and set your course for the journey ahead. If you are a veteran Christ follower, it is the easiest way to begin to connect with the community at K2.
We hope to see you there!
Transitions is a class for questioning Mormons wishing to get a better understanding of the traditional Christian faith. It is designed to help you navigate the changes and hardships of migrating from Mormonism to a new country of faith in God. Not a comparative theology class: Transitions is a very respectful look at Mormonism and Mormon culture. It is taught by former Mormons that have first-hand experience of the difficulties ahead. This six to eight-week class is open to all no matter where you are in your faith journey.
Whether the two of you are counting down the days until your wedding or you’ve been married for thirty years, this dynamic class will provide the tools to take your marriage to the next level! This eight-week program will dive into key areas that make or break a marriage. Join this class before you say, “I DO,” or to tell your spouse, “I STILL DO.”
Financial Peace University (FPU) is a 9 lesson, money-management course taught by Dave Ramsey, America’s most trusted financial guru. Dave and his team will walk you through the basics of budgeting, dumping debt, planning for the future, and much more. We offer this class because money problems can have a major impact on families, marriages, and our spiritual lives. FPU is a Christ centered approach to letting God have a say in your finances. We strongly recommend that everyone take this class at least once in your lifetime. And the sooner the better!
In scripture we see a pattern. When people accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior the first thing they do is get baptized. Their baptism is a symbol of how God has forgiven all their sins and washed them clean. It says that I have died and now Christ lives in me. If you have made the decision to make Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior, or if you were baptized previously but didn’t understand what it meant, we encourage you to take this step.
If you’ve been through it, then you know that separation and divorce are very painful and stressful experiences. It’s a confusing time when you feel isolated and have lots of questions about issues you’ve never faced before. Divorce Care meets weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. Each session has two distinct elements. The first half of the meeting we go through a video seminar featuring top experts on divorce and recovery subjects. The second half we spend time as a support group, discussing what was presented in that week’s video seminar, and what is going on in the lives of group members. It’s our goal to help you find a path to healing and wholeness.
