Did You Know:Though he can't climb a ladder he was willing to jump out of an airplane at 10,000 feet. Daves passions? Check out his only two magazine subscriptions: Discipleship Journal and The Sporting News. All league QB in high school. Talent contest champ in college (moving rendition of Eltons Crocodile Rock). Outside K2, look for Dave searching for his ball in the rough, hoarse at Rice-Eccles, racing Moriya to Donut Falls, or trading sheep for brick with friends

Andy Marshall

Family: Wife of 11 years, Beth. Children: Addison, 5 and Bailey, 3
Background: Youth and teaching pastor for 10 years. Other stints as a benefits broker, high school Bible teacher, freelance commercial artist, worship leader, wilderness outfitter and guitar teacher.
Did You Know: Andy is a wild adventurer! Hes climbed Mt Rainier; been sneezed on by an elephant, ice climbed the north face of Mt Whitney, and kayaked portions of the Colorado River. On the weekends you can find him enjoying snowboarding, fly-fishing, picnicking with his family or simply laying in the sun. His nick name while growing up was Spanky, and he repeated kindergarten twice (now hes twice as smart!). Andy once learned how to ride a unicycle, but ultimately prefers long motorcycle rides with his wife. |

Operations and Outreach Director
Family: Wife of 18 years, Paula. Children: Kyle, 5 Abbie, 4 and Tanya, 8.
Background: Director of Finance, Operations and Development at Kensington Community Church for 7 years. Pivotal involvement in Kensingtons building construction phases.
Did You Know: After a stint with Delta Airlines, Eric co-owned a bookkeeping and tax business in Kentucky (thatd explain the blue UK face paint). Good to know too that Eric never raised taxes when he was president
of student government in college. Hes never practiced law but could probably hold his own in court (big Grisham fan). |

Mike Routledge Arts Director
Family: Wife of 14 years,
Susie.
Children: Elijah 10, Natalie 7, Jude 4 and Gideon 3.
Background: Band Director at Kensington Community Church and frequent weekend musician. Founded his own recording studio and toured nationally. Elementary public school teacher for eight years.
Did You Know: Mike’s bands have opened for Toto and Robin Trower. His feet appeared in an Adidas commercial featuring former Detroit Piston great, Joe Dumars (and Mike’s feet). He is fiercely allergic to cats, seriously considered becoming a marine biologist, regularly forgets to turn off his blinker, and absolutely prefers Pepsi® to Coke® (note: the opinions expressed in this Did You Know are solely those of the arts director. K2 expressly declines endorsement of one soft drink over the other <cough> “Coke”).

Dave Elshaug
Children's Director Family: Wife of 16 years, Kari. Children: Katerina, 10 and Amelia, 3
Background: Dave is a graduate of North Central University in Minneapolis,MN. He has lead children’s and youth ministries in
Maryville, MO, Royal Oak, MI and started a new church called The Place in Littleton, CO. He enjoys teaching the Bible in relevant ways as well developing emerging leaders.
Did You Know: Dave was an instrumental team member in the building of a new carbon fiber airplane (Adam Aircraft A500) that was featured in the movie Miami Vice (2006). In college he sported a mul-hawk (Half mullet / half Mohawk). After all it was the 80’s man. He enjoys playing games with his family and taking long nature walks. His favorite movies are Shawshank Redemption, Braveheart, and Dumb and Dumber.

Ryan Coley
Director of Students
Family: Clarissa (wife and soul mate) no kids (maybe sometime in the next 30 years)
Background: Ryan was born in Arkansas (yikes!) and spent the first quarter of a century of his life in Indiana. After experiencing the cold and spending his weekends going to movies and eating out at the same restaurants, he decided to give the mountains a try. He graduated from Huntington University where he met his bride and worked with students for 5 plus years and he is halfway done with his Masters Degree and dreams of the day when he will be entirely done with school and run on sentences.
Did You Know: Ryan loves U2, P.F. Changs, Ohio State football, hanging with students, Kansas City Chiefs, golf, spending time with his wife, skiing, Ikea, coffee shops, flip flops, the ocean, mac’s, Mr. Pibb, 24, text messages, ipod, Xbox (NCAA football of course), a great book and a comfy seat, Lost, Coldplay, movies and exploring in the mountains.
